Louve is an independent jewelry line based in Montreal. The collections are imagined and handmade by the designer Virginie Turcot-Lamarre. Inspired by the warmth of wood and leather, she makes her jewelry from recycled materials, which she combines to create hybrid pieces, purified jewelry that impose themselves by their audacity and their character. From very eclectic inspirations, Louve jewels are characterized by a singular and assertive minimalist aesthetic. Each piece is made by hand, one at a time, with great attention to detail and respect for the material. For both wood and leather, the majority of materials are recovered without compromising on quality. The pieces of wood are exclusively made from tree species of the Quebec forest. Each piece is worked in such a way as to highlight the peculiarities of the material that composes it, thus preserving the uniqueness of each piece of jewelry, like the person who will wear it around their neck.
